Here's some characters I've been working on lately, all done in cut out construction paper style. They're all fully animatable, too, ranging from circus folk, orges, horses...and some santa clauses.

These are great!!!
I like them all, but I think I like black Santa and the lion and elephant the best. I love how the elephant's tail is sticking straight out and how his hat sort of looks like an exclamation mark.
